James Lileks, he of the “Bleat” and the well-turned phrase, has a wife, and his wife has just lost her job. (As assistant attorney general of Michigan, for goodness sake.) We like James Lileks; we like his writing, and we want him to keep writing. He’s got a tip jar over on his site; as Iam Hamet said this morning, why not go put something in it?

Update: Minnesota, I meant Minnesota, I really do know the difference between Minnesota and Michigan. Sigh.

And Will, the tough part is naming the lake (hint, it’s the same as a state) and the state!!!

Re Lileks: Been there, done that, twice in the last 6 years. I totally understand! Cant tip the jar til tomorrow since the hubby’s boss does his firing on Fridays and I need to find out if the hubby is employed another week. And that is not an exaggeration!

Very Good, Will. Lake Minnesota is right next to Lake Illinois and part of the Grand Lakes chain that leads to the Pacific Ocean thru the St Larry seaway. But you knew that!

Oh, now you’re just messing with me. Even I know that Minnesota is nowhere near Indiana.

You’re right, again. Indiana is down south near Texas somewhere.
