Installing Akismet was a no-brainer, since it was pre-installed. I'll look into installing Spam Karma if Spam becomes more than a very occasional nuisance. So far, I've only had the one. I admit, I can't blame Akismet in this case; it looked almost like a genuine comment. I figure the KISS principle applies–Keep It Simple, Stupid! Installing Akismet was a no-brainer, since it was pre-installed. I’ll look into installing Spam Karma if Spam becomes more than a very occasional nuisance.

It's good, but I've also got Spam Karma installed. Together, so far, multiple spams have made it to moderation, but nothing got through into the open.
