This is a required reading for my college history class. I find that his views are very pessimistic. To sum up this book in just a few words, he finds that textbooks are sugarcoating the fact about history. He fails to understand that these are books being used in high schools and secondary schools all over the world. The ethical issues come to play when they choose the books for our schools. So to honestly say he hates the way textbooks depict our historical characters. We are not all perfect and in a perfect world we all have flaws.
