At Death’s Door, by Robert Barnard
I usually like Barnard’s stuff; this one was adequate–I mean, I’ve read
much worse–but there really wasn’t anything about it that grabbed me.
It’s your basic whodunnit, and there are some nicely drawn obnoxious
characters, but that’s really about all there is to say about it.
