About

The View from the Foothills is the blog of Will Duquette, devout Catholic, constant reader, Tcl programmer, amateur photographer, and devoted husband and father of four. Well, father of four; husband of only one. My home page is here.

FWIW, I’ve been writing book reviews and such on-line┬ásince December of 1996….good grief, that’s over 12 years!

    Hi, Will –

Second book’s out! I get that you’re mostly not reviewing anymore, but if you’d like a copy, I’ll send you one. Then you can review it or not, as you please — though I’d value your comments.

I’d just have sent one, but I lost your address.

A free review copy of my new e-novel, Troll Valley, is available for you if you’ll let me know a) what e-mail address to send it to, and b) what reader format (if any) you prefer.

I question the judgment of anyone recording Jeeves in an age where Hugh Laurie has so wonderfully defined the field. Because I love Wodehouse I overcame my fear of disappointment and listened to “Jeeves and the unbidden guest.”. Your interpretation was “top hole” and great fun! Thanks for offering it and please do more.

    Dear Mr. Will,

Thank you very much for your posts about Maze generation and Matrix.
